Easy White Sour Cream Cake #cake #cakes #recipes


This is an easy white cake with a great vanilla flavor. It comes out great every time and is super quick to mix up. This recipe will make enough to fill two, eight inch round cake pans that are two inches deep





INGREDIENTS
  1. 1 box white cake mix Make sure it's a mix of at least 15 oz. Pillsbury works best
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 3/4 tsp salt
  5. 1 cup water
  6. 2 tbsp oil
  7. 2 tsp vanilla paste
  8. 1/2 tsp almond emulsion
  9. 1 cup sour cream
  10. 3 large eggs


INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease or spray your pans.
  2. Put the dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
  3. In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients, then pour onto the dry ingredients.
  4. Beat on medium about two minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, then beat for another one minute.
  5. Pour into greased pans.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 - 50 minutes.
  7. Set cake pans on wire rack to cool for 10 minutes, then turn out of the pans onto the wire racks to cool completely.
